Half Marathon 2015: Week 10

Week 10 16kmThis morning was the hottest since last summer – perfect for a 16km run before breakfast. Amazing to think that was 4 times the distance of the first week only a couple of months ago, and I felt much better doing the 16km than I did doing that first 4km in week 1. Another scenic route this morning over the bridge, over the top of the Rocks to Walsh Bay, around to Circular Quay, the Opera House, Botantic Gardens and turn around at the Art Gallery. I didn’t quite manage to do a negative split but I only took 5 minutes more than last week to do an extra 2km – not bad in the heat. Another long one next week – 18km – and then cutting back for the final couple of weeks until the half marathon. It’s come around very quickly!
