Half Marathon 2015: Week 7

Week 7 8kmWeek 7 and the same run as a couple of weeks ago, except this time I finished the whole distance and was much faster too. Supposedly it’s a recovery week this week, but as a recovery week to me is spent with a rum punch and a good book on the beach in the Carribean I agree with one of the coaches who prefers the term “consolidation week”. After building up from finding 4km in week 1 a bit of a struggle, to doing 12km with (relative) ease, it was time to drop back to 8km. Even the notorious hills up to Neutral Bay weren’t as bad as they were a couple of weeks ago.

Next week it’s the City2Surf for the Helicopter… 14km from the City to Bondi…
